The Memoirs of Austin Driscoll is the story of a thirteen year old boy [the son of a minister] growing up in Dodge City, Kansas in 1875. 'The Memoirs of Austin Driscoll' is created around realistic characters, situations, and scenes. The characters are real people, with real problems and reactions. Although the setting is the Wild West as it appeared in 1875, in many ways it is not much different than the world we all live in today. Unlike most faith-based television programs or movies, the plot is not manipulated in order that everything turn out okay. Real life doesn't happen that way.
What makes the story telling so powerful is that by seeing the world through the eyes of an innocent child (and some beautiful cinematography, if we might add) Austin Driscoll speaks to the heart and soul. Like program creator Scott Kearney explained to the little boy who plays the role of Austin Driscoll, 'The Memoirs of Austin Driscoll is a slice of life … In life, you laugh and you cry. If you laugh more than you cry, life is pretty good!'
Our vision is to create, produce, sell and distribute a quality program that will extol virtue, family values, courage and eternal truths. Walt Disney once said, 'When you believe a thing, believe it all over, implicitly and unquestioningly.' We believe 'The Memoirs of Austin Driscoll' is the most magical family program to come along in many years!
And now, without further ado, we are honored to present to you the trailer for 'The Memoirs of Austin Driscoll'.
